Bringing the vibes of the Med to Dubai, Fish Taverna at Le Meridian Mina Al Seyahi is the latest seafood restaurant to open its doors in Dubai Marina.
As you enter – via a winding pathway between whitewashed walls – you’re instantly transported to a Mediterranean seaside haven. The brainchild of the hotel’s managing director Tolga Lacin, its feels like no other beachfront restaurant in town, with stunning sunset views overlooking the Arabian Gulf. From the stone flooring and rustic walls to the simple white furniture, strings of twinkling lights, splashes of blue, and secluded dining area. Every tiny detail has been considered and executed so perfectly, it felt as if I’d jumped in a cab and arrived on Santorini.
The menu is fuss-free and authentic – from the fabulous meze dishes to the fresh fish and tender meat cooked on the open-air barbeque and in the outdoor oven. My favourites were Levrek, sea bass marinated in fresh herbs and Hamsi; anchovies marinated in salt and lemon
My new chilled Dubai hangout – great atmosphere, fantastic food, and a great spot to enjoy the sunset from the beach.Where? Dubai Marina
