Serves 4, prep time 10 minutes, cooking time 5 minutes
2 tsp of olive oil
500g sausage meat
2 chopped garlic cloves
1 red onion
1 tsp paprika
2 tsp of Worcester sauce
1 can of chopped tomatoes
2 tbsp of tomato purée
Salt & pepper
5 sprigs of fresh thyme
250g of spaghetti
Basil leaves to serve
Place the sausage meat in a bowl and season, divide into 10 equal amounts then roll into balls. (Chill for one hour).
Select the Nutricook to sauté function. Add the oil to the pot, when the oil shimmers add the meatballs and brown for 2-3 minutes. Remove and set to one side.
Add the onion and garlic to the pot and sauté until soft. Next, add the tomato purée, chopped tomatoes, Worcester sauce, paprika and thyme.
Stir and bring to a simmer, return the meatballs to the pot, close the lid and seal the valve, select the manual timer to five minutes, on high pressure.
Meanwhile, cook the spaghetti as per pack instruction.
When the programme is complete, release the pressure, stir the pot, season more to taste. Serve in deep bowls topped with chopped basil leaves.
