Sticky Sweet Chicken Wings

15 chicken wings
1 chopped onion
3 tbsp of honey
1 tbsp of soy sauce
2 garlic cloves chopped
1 tbsp of brown sugar
1 red chilli chopped
1 tsp of garlic salt
1 lime, plus wedges to serve
Handful of chopped coriander
3 wooden skewers (soak in cold water for 20 minutes before use)

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Wash and trim chicken, then push the skewers through the wings, then place on an oiled baking tray. Place all the remaining ingredients in a pan over a medium heat and stir until the sugar dissolves. Turn down the heat and simmer for 15 minutes. Next, pour the sauce over the chicken. Place the tray in the oven for 45 minutes, basting occasionally. When the chicken is cooked, transfer to  a serving tray, squeeze over some lime and top with coriander leaves. Serve with lime wedges and the remainder of the sauce in a side bowl.
